Peripatetic Postmistress
Hello! I'm Helen and I was Postmistress at Port Lockroy in Antarctica for the 2007-08 season, when I began this blog. Now I am not doing anything nearly as interesting but started blogging again regardless since moving to the Alps in December for my first (last?) ski season.

I've just started my own blog and was looking around for ideas when i found this, fantastic. What a wonderfull place and a wonderful blog. How on earth do you get a job like that? Good luck for your remaining time down there and a good trip home.
