These are the last for now. Seems like they have all the necessary accoutrements for a cultured and comfortable life - a snowman, flag and nice sunny spot for a cup of tea!

Hello! I'm Helen and I was Postmistress at Port Lockroy in Antarctica for the 2007-08 season, when I began this blog. Now I am not doing anything nearly as interesting but started blogging again regardless since moving to the Alps in December for my first (last?) ski season.
